Our team

Will began his career in the British Army, serving as an infantry officer, before joining a specialist unit and later working in the Ministry of Defence. After leaving the military, he spent time with tech companies Palantir and Helsing. He holds a Master’s in Military and Security Studies from King’s College London.

Sophia began her career at Garrison Technology, where as Head of Central Operations she helped grow and scale the business from fewer than 20 to nearly 200 employees, and ultimately through to a successful exit. She brings this experience to her role as Head of Operations at Arondite. Sophia holds a BA in History from American University.

Rob leads Arondite's engineering organisation. After studying engineering at Cambridge, he started his career at BAE Systems, where he went on to be a Lead Engineer. Before founding Arondite, he was Head of the Product Group at Garrison Technology, which he joined in 2014 as its first employee.

Edward has 12 years of prior legal practice structuring, negotiating and closing deals in private investments, public RFPs, venture capital, tech licencing, and tech procurement. Prior experience as a founder and tech GC. BA in Law from Cambridge.

Mike spent 16 years at the Ministry of Defence, where he led 2 major transformation programmes as a 2* Director. Prior to this he served as Chief of Staff to the 4* Vice Chief of Defence Staff and as the Head of Strategy for the Royal Navy. He started his career at the Defence Science and Technology Lab.

Tobia joined Arondite after completing his doctoral studies in Engineering at Cambridge. His research focussed on acoustics, imaging, and data processing. His undergraduate work at ETH Zürich focussed on carbon composite manufacturing, followed by a Master’s in Engineering Design at KTH Stockholm, where he also worked as a research assistant.

Theo completed his PhD at Oxford in 3D computer vision & visual AI in 2023, with a focus on 3D understanding and network efficiency. Before this, he did his Master’s degree in Engineering Science also from Oxford, with a thesis focused on improving classical SLAM systems with deep learning.

Sam works part-time at Arondite while completing his DPhil at Oxford. His research focusses on multi-modal fusion for both conventional and neuromorphic sensors in resource-constrained systems. Prior to this, he gained a Master’s in Engineering from Durham University, where he specialised in electronics.

Seb graduated from Imperial College with a First in Computer Engineering. At Palantir, he led the data engineering team for the national reporting and distribution of COVID vaccines. After Palantir, he joined Entrepreneur First to build UAV data-processing tooling for natural disaster response.

Kyle received a First Class MSci (Hons) degree in Physics from the University of Bristol, with a thesis focusing on real-time machine learning algorithms deployed on edge hardware. He worked in the Scientific Computing Department at the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council, building cloud-based services to manage and analyse research data.

Tom graduated from Cambridge with a triple First in Natural Sciences. After discovering a love of programming during his PhD he switched to software engineering. He spent 4 years at Betfair then 7 years at Palantir, where he led engineering teams building flagship frontend applications, and most recently spent 2 years at Causal.

Tom graduated with a First in Mathematics from Durham University, with a thesis focusing on Stellar magnetic flux modelling. His previous role was in Microsoft's Azure for Operators division, developing mission critical communications applications. He is a keen sportsman, and a 1st dan black belt in Karate.
